Braves trade Matt Kemp to the Dodgers for Adrian Gonzalez, Scott Kazmir, Brandon McCarthy, Charlie Culberson and cash considerations. Gonzalez will be designated for assignment and become a free agent next week.

Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports that the Yankees have agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with CC Sabathia.

The deal is pending a physical. It will be the 10th season spent in New York for the 37-year-old southpaw who posted a 3.69 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in a resurgent 2017 season. He give the Yankees much needed depth in the starting rotation, but it's likely they'll still be in the market for additional arms despite this signing.

I don't think the BOSTON Braves, or MILWAUKEE Braves would agree with you. The ATLANTA Braves have one trophy. The 3 you mention above have always been in their respective cities. Are you going to follow them when they become the Puerto Rico Braves?

So do the Dodgers lose their championship they won in Brooklyn? Do the As lose the 5 they won in Philadelphia?

If the Braves don't get to count the one they won against the Yankees in Milwaukee, why do the Yankees get to count the one they won against the Milwaukee Braves? Because they didn't move cities?

Got tickets for the games I'll be at in Pittsburgh next season. Center field for a night game and upper level on first base side under shade for a day game. Should have a really good view of the bridge and river from up there as well.

According to LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Twins players and front office members "are speaking more optimistically" about Yu Darvish "than they ever have" about top free-agent targets.

The Twins don't typically spend big money on free agents, but general manager Thad Levine (who has a history with the free agent starter from Texas) has previously called Darvish "a priority" while manager Paul Molitor said at the Winter Meetings last week that the club has "tremendous interest" in him. It's easy to see why, as the Twins have an excellent young core of position players and need a pitcher like Darvish to take them to the next level. The question is whether they'll be able to compete with the sort of offers he's likely to receive. No resolution appears imminent, as one Twins official believes that it could be another month before Darvish signs.
