Gauging interest -

Anyone interested in a Fantasy Baseball league? Small entry free, maybe $10 or $15?

There's 4 of us that have stated interest (myself included), so likely 6 more to make it worthwhile.

I am pumped. I might actually get to see some of the game. Most years the first game has been 1:05 PM. I usually miss it because I am at work.

Vintage Corey Kluber outing, unfortunately: he makes one mistake early, gets no run support, pitches a complete game anyway, takes the L.

King Felix looked sharp. Hats off to him.

Hopefully the bats wake up Saturday and Sunday when Carrasco and Bauer pitch.

Sorry fellas! I was not expecting Felix to look as good as he did. I was expecting Diaz to blow it in the 9th...

For Saturday, don't be surprised if the Indians get next to nothing off Paxton. 6'5" lefty throwing 96 all day with a backbreaking curve and killer slider.

Saturday's gonna be a low-scoring affair as well because Carrasco isn't exactly chopped liver, either. But, you're right, Paxton is a stud.

And, besides, anyone whose avatar is Big Ern is OK in my book.

Hope the Mariners do well in the West this season (it would be nice to see them give the Astros a run for their money).

For the first time in franchise history, the Braves have started 3 different catchers in their first 3 games.

Tyler Flowers pulled an oblique in Game 1.
Kurt Suzuki got hit in the hand by a pitch while hitting in Game 2.
And now Chris Stewart is on the clock...

Also, the Braves have a scheduled Sunday off-day for the first time since 1933.

you guys find it ridiculous that Stanton was boo'ed yesterday? i mean, cmon... first home game, his first at yankee stadium and crowd gets on him for the 5 strikeouts? especially after the debut he had...

i get he had an awful day at the plate buti was a little surprised by that
