They are frustratingly inconsistent I wonder where (and when) the spark will be coming from...
Re: Kershaw, good news, no surgery needed... But between this and his back, I feel a sword of Damocles above his season (and the next)...
I remember an article I read a few years ago (just after CK22 won his 3rd CY) basically writing that even the great Pedro Martinez, after his 3rd CY (hmmm) in 2000, couldn't pitch effectively for a full season anymore: 60days DL in 2001, 15d DL in 2002, 15d DL in 2003, pitched full seasons in 2004 and 2005 (but with a 3.35 ERA combined), then his career was essentialy over (57 GS, 4.48 ERA, 1,31 WHIP). He avg. 21 starts a season after his age-30 season...

I wonder what kind of contract Kershaw gets after this season. He can opt-out of the remaining 2 years and $65 million left on his deal and barring a major injury I can't imagine he wouldn't opt-out. I'd still be concerned though if I was running the Dodgers or another team about giving him a massive contract after 3 straight years with stints on the DL.

He will most probably opt-out and resign with LAD or sign with TEX/HOU. I can’t imagine him signing anywhere else...
The fact that it might be Rick Honeycutt last season as LAD’s pitching coach might also play a role in his future destination (Rick was already the pitching coach when CK22 reached the Majors).
I’m a HUGE CK22 fan (I’ve watched all of his games in the last 3+years) but I think that signing him for more than 4 years would be a huge mistake.

Yanks came close. Boston had to work extremely hard for that win last night. Now the question is, after two long winning streaks, how will the Yanks do this weekend? Hoping they start another streak.

the slowwww start coupled with injuries (Seager gone for the year, JT just getting back, Kershaw, Ryu hurting) and the bullpen not providing much relief

not to mention that bad stretch against the Reds and Marlins

still plenty of time and they have been fortunate that the DBacks have come back down to earth.. if Stripling can pitch like he did today coupled with Buehler continuing to improve things may not be all bad..
