1994 and also the whole league/Loria nonsense.
The last news was them considering sharing time with Tampa Bay like Montreal/Puerto Rico redux. Get the team back through expansion or relocation or don’t bother at all.

Your top 3 are all warranted. I am sure that a majority of fans would like to see all of those things implemented.
From the owner's lies, the hard cap would bring more competitive balance to regions that are always depressed from the opportunity to succeed. What they really want is to stifle salary costs and pocket more money. Unfortunately, it looks like there will be no baseball played this year because of the this money grab.

Players are gonna need to cave more than the owners. Comparing with Basketball and Football, they make more money compared to the revenue generated from TV. Really should be a salary cap to stops rich teams like L.A. and the Yankees from stockpiling top players.

At least they will refund you though. I thought sports tickets were buyer beware, no refunds, but most of the sports teams are changing that policy.

If it was a concert, that's where all the ****ery goes down. Ticketmaster pays some promoter, promoter pays the music performer and venue; but now that's all completely messed up and nobody knows how to refund customers.

Stubhub even said they don't have the money to refund people. Stubhub!!! Ticketmaster is giving refunds for Live Nation and AEG stuff, others? Not so much unless the promoter unwinds the event, good luck calling into customer no-service.

Facebook. There's several bobblehead groups I'm in, one in particular that does a lot of other cool things since there are no giveaways due to all the games being not being played. So one admin runs 'breaks', you fill up by buying spots, and he'll 'break' the seal on Facebook live.

So if they don't come to an agreement and the season cancelled, that means the players get nothing, right? It's going to look real bad for the sport if basketball instead is the "national pastime", being played during the summer when it's usually just baseball. And even worse when football resumes in September. I don't think they can afford to not come to some sort of an agreement. It's not like they don't have any image problems as it is.
