Chicago White Sox are now just outslugging the competition. I thought they would make the playoffs, didn't expect them to be near clinching (the heck happened with the Indians?)

I actually like the playoff format just for the chance at upsets. 3 game series with no byes has pretty much turned this into March Madness, MLB edition.

The playoffs should be very unpredictable. Remember, teams haven't played outside their own divisions.

Mitch Keller of the Pirates has a 4-0 lead -- and a no-hitter -- through six innings. Only 84 pitches thrown. So what do the Pirates do? Pull him and their bullpen gives up five runs in the seventh.

I was hoping he'd just miss this season but expected he needed it. Means he'll be out until 2022 and a free agent if he does come back.

Atlanta Braves just clinched the NL East for the 3rd straight season!

It's hard to be a sports fan in Atlanta, but I'm especially excited this season. I would argue they are the best offense in baseball and have an incredible bullpen. The one problem would be the lack of starting pitching (outside of Max Fried).

This is the best Braves' lineup since they had JD Drew, Sheffield, a juiced Javy Lopez, and Chipper in 2003. The bullpen is good but I fear they will be exposed in the playoffs. None of their relievers are that intimidating and the strike zone often shrinks in the playoffs.

Fried has to pitch like an ace for the Braves to make a deep run.

Jesus..my White Sox are really falling off here since they've clinched a playoff berth. Their bullpen has been somewhat rocked the past few nights, concerning? Maybe, but Luis Robert, Moncada and Mazara need to wake up for the playoffs.

I'm a temporary Yankee and Orioles fan this week. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Although I actually think Toronto has a bright future and a lot of young talent to build around.

(I'm an Angels fan, amazingly we're not technically eliminated yet)

I can’t believe the Twins. Just one of those weird things that can’t be explained I guess because they’ve had good teams and definitely shouldn’t be getting swept constantly in the postseason.

The Twins have had good teams over the years. Certainly not bad enough to lose 18 straight postseason games.

Yeah I know, at this point it's a mental hurdle that's even getting to players who weren't in MLB when the streak began. I expect them to react like they won the World Series when the streak finally ends.

I don't know, making the play-offs and not winning when you get there has to be almost as bad as not going at all.
