Well it's been an interesting 24 hours for the Dodgers....First their 300 million dollar new guy goes 1 inning and gives up 5 runs.

Then the news broke about their billionaire new guy Ohtani...

I wonder how incentivized $$$$ MLB will be to make this go away because the lies already told are lol and anyone who doesnt come to the conclusion that Ohtani wasn't using his interpreter to place bets with illegal sports books then you just are not that bright imo.

And the punishment for having a go between placing bets for you on an illegal book regardless of sport is a 1 year suspension!

Yamamoto gave up 5 runs in the first inning in a rough debut yesterday. He’s already coming off a rocky spring training with an 8.38 ERA. I know it’s early but the hype for the dude was insane. I’m a bit glad he didn’t land in NY.

Twins are terrible in spring training, makes me feel more vindicated about pivoting to being a Dodgers fan.

So John Sterling is retiring due to health issues. He was the voice of the Yankees.
The Yankees will be giving him a proper send off before the game tomorrow.

I'm happy at least for the last 3 straight wins. I did get concerned about that recent skid especially since the series Ls were to .500 or better teams, but still way too early in the season to panic. We still have yet to see the Dbacks' annual "get hot and lead the division just before the all-star break, then tank for the rest of the season" event.

The surprise so far is Glasnow. I hope he keeps it up!
