I never really thought I'd see 50/50 but I think Shohei is going to do it. The new rules help but it's still a special, special feat.

This will also be a one-off because there's no way he could steal this many bases while also pitching.

Stealing bases takes a real physical toll a pitcher's body couldn't handle. There are limits when playing 162 games in six months.

I suspect Shohei knows this and why he's going for broke stealing bases this DH-only season.

What a beat-down in game 3. I'm just happy they got the first 2 so at the very least it'll be a series split, and if so AZ would be in the same position before the start of the series.

He had such a great start, too! But hasn't really been himself since June or so. I would have loved to see him go into the post-season if he could have stayed healthy. But more importantly, I hope he heals up!
