If you’re looking for Game 3 tonight it’s on ESPN & not ESPN 2 even though it was advertised that way. DirecTV didn’t even properly title it and it still shows “to be announced”

Expanding the wild card round to 3 games was a pure money grab by MLB and Manfred.

Frankly, I enjoyed the intensity of one game to decide the wild cards. Those were a great way to begin the playoffs.

There are simply too many teams now allowed into the MLB playoffs. This is not football, it takes 80-100 games before a team's true talent level really manifests.

Three divisions and one wild card was perfect, or alternatively they could have split each league into 4 divisions with no wild cards. But I doubt we ever go backwards from this many teams.

Was not a fan of the one game wildcard, but at least only 4 (all wildcard) teams were involved. All the division winners could settle into their 5 game series (which should be 7). But now two of the division winners are in a best of 3? Just seems silly to me.

Any Guardians fans? My cousin is a die-hard and is down in Cleveland right now for the first two games.

He just texted me that he met the Guardians hitting coach- Chris Valaika sitting next to him at a bar in the restaurant he was eating at. Pretty cool!
