i forget but what is the ruling for fan interference? if fan hit the ball in the air, its just ruled as a foul ball, right? what about if it were in play and was for a home run. do they rule it not a homerun? re-do the pitch? automatic out?

They didn't seem too disappointed when they were kicked out. Probably a combination of already being half drunk and wanting to be (in)famous on social media.

I believe it's when the fan reaches into the field of play, or interferes with the player's attempt to catch the ball when he reaches over the fence.

yes but what happens when said interference happens? say, fan catches ball that would have been a home run? fan catches ball that would have hit the wall? fan hits ball and drops onto field etc....

I think they rule ground rule double in all cases unless it clearly went over the wall. But maybe they do even then, I'm not sure.

From the commentary it appears they judge to see if it would have cleared the wall. Didn't look like it here.
