No, as they got a refund. Meaning they don't have control over them for tonight's game. One of the fans is a season ticket holder for those two seats. He's worried about permanently losing the seats now, as he should. Betts could easily have been injured.

Thankfully no more bullpen games for the Dodgers. They were 2-2, and won the all-important elimination game against the Padres, so I can't complain. Just hope that Ohtani's swing isn't being compromised too much by the injury and he starts hitting more. Can't rely on Freeman to bail us out every night, especially if Judge starts hitting as he did some last night

I’m a bit surprised the Yankees even considered allowing them back for G5. All professional organizations have their bad apples. Fans, players and coaches, etc. The fact that the fan (idiot) literally pried the ball out of Mookie Betts’ glove and grabbed his wrist should come with a lifetime MLB ban and perhaps even criminal charges. The latter likely being a stretch. Automatic lifetime ban if you run onto the field..this event should result in the same.

Mookie could have been injured.

In an interview done with him after the incident, he basically says that he protects/defends that area. That he would do it again to help his team.

Really surprised that the Yankees organization even considered letting them back in the stadium for Game 5, let alone any game ever. Bad look for the organization, to say the least.

The Yankees refunded, They then took the tickets and donated them to a family with a child with cancer, class act on Yankees part.

As for the 2 imbiciles I hope MLB, Betts and Yankees all press charges against them.

Betts won't be able to, only because the stupid court of public fandom will view him as "weak" if he does. It's the dumb unwritten rule where bad fandom gets to slime away free.

A lifetime ban will work just fine. No need to press charges in that case. He's no showing any remorse and seems to be enjoying the spotlight. Let him forever enjoy watching his beloved Yankees on TV instead of his area of patrol at the ballpark.
