going out the way we did last night was brutal to watch.

It was beyond brutal. They were never going to beat the Dodgers after losing Game 1 but G3 was the wake up call they needed but it was not to last.

Cole had a no hitter going thru 4 innings then the hell train arrived.

- Easy pop up to Judge and easy infield out if Cole covers first. Both times I yelled and clapped expecting easy outs…only to be disappointed seconds later.

-Volpe’s weird throw to Jazz

A bit later we had catcher’s interference and a balk.

That’s baseball, I guess. Congrats to the Dodgers. They earned it.

NEW YORK -- Two days before the Los Angeles Dodgers' postseason began, Freddie Freeman felt a twinge in his rib cage when he took a swing during a simulated game. He vowed to ignore it. It's not as if he wasn't already in pain. Over the previous week, Freeman had nursed a sprained right ankle sustained trying to avoid a tag while running to first base. He needed no more impediments. The Dodgers had a World Series to win.

A day later, Oct. 4, after Freeman finished a news conference in which he declared himself ready to play despite the ankle injury, he retreated to the batting cage at Dodger Stadium. He wanted to take some swings in preparation for a live batting-practice session. His side tingled with each of his first dozen swings. On the 13th swing, Freeman felt a jolt through his body and crumpled to the ground.

Unable to even pick himself off the floor, Freeman was helped into the X-ray room next to Los Angeles' dugout. The results were inconclusive, and around 9:30 p.m., he received a call. The Dodgers wanted him to drive to Santa Monica for more imaging. He hopped in the car, then in an MRI tube. Around 11:30 p.m., the results arrived: Freeman had broken the costal cartilage in his sixth rib, an injury that typically sidelines players for months.

I've always liked the guy but man he went after Giancarlo Stanton hard during the postseason, so maybe it's time to hang it up.

You look at Stanton. There are things he can no longer do, He doesn't play the outfield at all, he's strictly a DH. He can't run much at all.

I used to like Costas, especially during some of his NBC olympics coverage, but I tried listening to some of his baseball commentating and it was insanely robotic and boring.

i honestly feel bad for Judge right now. That dropped ball would be replaying in my head non-stop right now. He's shown he can be mentally tough, especially playing in NYC, but that is going to be hard to get over no matter who you are.

Do I want him to stay….sure but he’s following the money 100%. It won’t be a Judge situation where he passed on 40m just to remain with the Yankees.

He actually said about half a dozen things during the post season directly aimed at Stanton. That was just one of ‘em. It was just odd that he kept going at him…like we know. Although Costas did say that it wasn’t Giancarlo’s fault ..
