The Pirates sweep the Dodgers… They’re playing like they want top billing in the Wild Card playoffs, which is what they will get or worse, if they can’t get out of this funk.

BTW, they need a better playoff system. If you win your division, you shouldn’t have to play in a Wild Card round. That’s not baseball. Sure. If you had two leagues/conferences with 2 divisions, 6 teams in the Playoffs is fair, 2 qualify for the Division series, with 4 in the WC round is fair. This current system is not.

Dodgers lose 4 in a row, and Tanner Scott (Dodgers Closer), clearly f*cked up.

I commented at the trade deadline, they needed a better closer.

T.S. 2nd in Blown Saves for 2025, Bot.9th, 1-1. He is one strike away from extra innings. But then, Scott throws a fastball right down the pipe. No movement. Couldn’t have been in a better spot… Bang. The Orioles hit a no doubt walk-off home run. 2-1.

The Dodgers have now lost 6 of their last 7.
A losing record since the All-Star Break.
When will this funk end!

Karen was in the wrong. The baseball was not in her row or her possession so the father had the rightful claim to it.

With that being said, my question to you if you're at a baseball game and you catch a one, do you keep it for yourself or give it to a random child close to you?

Yamamoto had a no-hitter through 8 2/3 and gives up a solo shot to Holiday. They take him out leading 3-1 and 2 relievers give up 3 runs and the Dodgers lose the game. I have no idea why they dont leave him in to get that last out. He was barely at 100 pitches I believe.

Oh shit yeah. Leave him in. Yamamoto can at least try for a one-hitter. WTF was Roberts thinking.

I hate it when I’m right (see post about the Dodger’s needing a decent Closer and Tanner Scott, 3 posts above). Now TS is tied for the Blown Save lead.

I don’t believe it. How the f*ck do you lose, with one out away from a No-Hitter bid, your 3-1 up, and go down 4-3.

Yamamoto also had an immaculate inning this year, that was robbed ‘cos of a super-bad call from the home plate umpire.

Etiquette is simple, adults give the balls to a kid. Either yours or random. Your a damn adult give the ball to the kid.

Props to Phillies, Shark Tank guy, and the dad.

Dad just gave her the ball to deescalate.

Phillies gave the kid a swag bag, Player meet and Greet, and a signed bat.

Shark Tank guy gave them tickets to world series.

Don't they still have the last wildcard spot? In baseball now all you need to do is make the playoffs and anything can happen. Still though I agree, their owner did his part.
