New year, same result for the Cubs. 2 blown leads in 2 games. It's just like last year, when they're getting runs the pitching sucks, and when the pitcher plays great the hitters won't back him up. The relievers have given up 10 runs in 2 games. Ryan Dempster goes 6 innings and gives up 1 earned run, and gets a no decision. He also had what should have been an RBI but the scorer didn't give him the RBI due to an error on the play. The only bright spot so far for the relief pitching has been Sean Marshall, who has gone 3.2 innings and hasn't given up a hit or walk.

You sure you aren't an O's fan LMAO thats exactly what happens to us, if we hit well or get some clutch hits in a close game the pitchers blow it. If the pitchers pitch lights out then we get next to no run support.

The Dodgers finally brought out the bats today scoring 10. Interestingly enough it was all done by pretty much a split squad lineup. Bills looked pretty good as well.
