It's not so much bandwagonning as much as appreciating the opportunity to almost see a no hitter. I saw a no hitter at Dodger Stadium performed by the opposing team and everyone applauded the effort afterward. It becomes more about baseball rather than team loyalty at that point...at least IMO.

Sadly Camden Yards is the same way... They usually fill in half the seats when they come to down... Red Sox draw a large crowd as well but at least they know how to act and have a good time...

+1 i cant even put into words how igorant some people seem when they call themselves a yankee fan but they cant even name 2 pitchers in there rotation

I'm so embarrassed with this home opening stand, going 3-3 and losing 2 of 3 to the cussing Yanks! The Rays scored 9 runs in the opener of the NY series, but then only 3 in the 2 loses to NY! I know it's only April, but you can't go .500 in the AL east and think you will win the division!

However in watching both 'Baseball Tonight' and 'MLB-TV', I sure am VERY GLAD that we did not try to match that awful Soriano contract that the Cubies are now stuck with for many more years.

Blue Jays off to a great start again this year. Without bums like Alex Rios, guys with bad attitudes like Rolen and guys way past their prime like Millar... I think we're a bit better off this season. Was nice having Halladay but Toronto still has great picthing overall.

We will not win the AL East by any stretch of the imagination this season but the Jays are going to be a pain in every team's side!

Sweep of the O's! Whitesox and Rios are next!

Welcome back... again come to gloat after the whipping I had to endure

I'd say we are in the running for top 3 worst pitching staffs, other then Matusz, and Bergesen we pretty much have nothing.

Though I assume this has expired I would pass on Murton's autograph. He isn't even in the minors anymore, he's playing in Japan. I liked Murton and thought he was going to be better but it just never happened. Incidentally I have Murton's autograph because I won it in a scratch-off promotion at a Cubs game. I think I might have thrown it away though.

Cubs are really frustrating me this year. They're 2-4 and have led in every game. Their starting pitchers are pitching great with the exception of Zambrano on opening day, but their bullpen has blown 3 games. Sean Marshall has been great, going 5 innings and only giving up 1 hit and Carlos Marmol has converted both of his save opportunities but the rest of the bullpen has sucked. John Grabow has been horrible, he already has 2 losses in relief.
