LOL

I am sooooo pleased with tonight's win over the Yankees... AJ getting pulled in the 8th in front of everyone... it couldn't have happened much better!

GO JAYS! It's been along time, mismanaged, a players strike, bad decisions, terrible over the hill signings and much more over the last 15 years... until now... finally in the right direction

I'm a Boston fan and I'm really surprise to see Blue Jays doing what there doing this year. I guess they found a way to shoot up w/out getting caught, just yet. Or the league will just catch them 2 years later

Been happening since last July Dude Once Cito Gaston was hired on as the coach, everything changed. Best team in baseball since July of last year... which will hopefully mean meaningful baseball all season and maybe, just maybe a playoff spot for the first time since 1993

Too many games to keep up w/all teams, but my Sox will take the lead after All Star.

Enough of those two teams, what about Evan Longoria? I think he has a shot of taking MVP this year, hopefully he does, do it now before they find out you shoot up. He's having a great year, following up to last season.

Haha. Halladay is clearly juicing. The guy is insane.

Pujols hit his 13th HR earlier, so he's on pace for 64 this year. Safe to say he's juicing too.

I admit I didn't actually watch much of the NY/Tor game, because the game was carried by a local channel tonight, and I hate it when the games are on that channel, because it's only available in SD, and it looks like crap to begin with.

I did see Damon get called out on a double, which was great. Whenever the Yankees are losing, I tend to notice the bad calls more, even though they probably end up not really mattering in the grand scheme of the game. (The play was in the top of the 1st, when Damon hit a dribbler down the left field line, and whoever plays LF made an insane throw). The replays clearly showed he was safe, by a millisecond or so, but I think since it was so close, and because it was an amazing throw by the LF'er, the umpire gave the call to Toronto.

A few games ago when the Yankees were playing Boston, Pena was called out at first on what should've been an infield single. The replays showed he was clearly safe, and that out seemed to kill the late rally they had going (at the time it was 1st and 2nd, with 0 outs).

As a sign of how much the Yankees are struggling, Halladay walked out with his 7th win tonight, which leads the Majors.

The Yankees have a 4-way tie for most wins by a SP: AJ, CC, Pettitte and Joba each have a whopping 2 wins.

Dont care for Blue Jays much, even though if I had to pick my fave blue jay the last few years, it would have to be Vernon Wells. Always liked him, even though he's injury prone. I live in Florida so I see a lot of Rays game, I've always knew they had potential to finally come through, it just took some horrible years to do what they did last year. Hopefully the Jays will drop (no offense), and put BoSox and Rays back on the top two

That's the sad thing about the current state of baseball. You can't do anything good without bringing up rumors that you must've been using steroids. And the reason for that is chances are... you were. If A-Rod and Manny were caught, it's only a matter of time before some of these others probably are. At least A-Rod claimed it was years ago, whereas Manny was supposedly currently using them. So apparently the players just don't care, and are still using steroids, and will keep using them until they are caught.

That is true, I think league knows before hand and just let the players do there thing for a few years then catch em!. I'm a huge Manny fan, been one since his cleveland years. It was dumb for him to take it but they never actually said he took steriods, they only assume he did take steriods cuz he took that HGC which suppose to bring back ur normal testosterone cycle after getting out of steriod. SO they never really said HE DID STERIODS.

LOL Good Ol Tim. Never liked him though. Don't know why they kept him, maybe cuz he gets senior citizen pay. I'm pretty sure he'll take whatever redsox pays him since he so old.

Haha yep... but the guy still gets the wins!

If I was coaching and he was picthing, i would put all bench players in the game lol He seems to mess up regular players with the knuckleball.

Well after Clemens made his brief appearance in Toronto, I think he left a few boxes of syringes in the clubhouse.

Halladay didn't really come up until right after Clemens left, but who knows what was still lingering.

I was just joking, but who really knows.

Yeah I know, just joking here too.

CLemens did all of a sudden start throwing 100MPH when he was in Toronto after pitching around 90 lol... so yeah easy to tell what happened there. WHereas Halladay is a movement pitcher... can throw mid 90s, but he is not a strike-out pitcher so to speak even though he does get quite a few. He is classified as a ground ball out pitcher.

ANyway i gotta get to bed... fun as always

OHHHHH ROYYYY! the whole time I thought you guys were refering to Matt Holliday. Derrrr... Honestly imo, if you had an opportunity to make that kind of money and you needed something to perform better to get to that $$$...would you take steriods? so what you if you lose your name, you still made millions. and you get to live happy. I know I would.

Haha. I can't say anything back about Holliday, even though he seems to be missing the friendly confines of Coors Field.

The reason I won't say anything bad about him is I expect him to be on the Yankees by next year, and don't want to look like I was bashing him (even if I actually don't want the Yankees to get him... all signs point to they will).

Why? So Yankees can embarass themselves even more by signing someone w/huge contract and still not make playoffs. Heehee. I didn't know Holliday only signed 1 year with As. Thought they would give him a big contract. Oh well, never cared for As anyways, I just like that they signed Nomar, hes one of my fave players, even though hes pretty much at the end of his career. But he still tryin to play

Yeah, the Yankees might have a spot to fill in the outfield next season, because it's unlikely that they will re-sign Damon or Matsui. Austin Jackson (aka A-Jax) may not be ready by next year, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Yankees -- following the trend they've set for the last 10 years -- go out and get the biggest free agent outfielder for next season... which would be Holliday. They'll probably pay him more than he's worth, he'll show up hit .260 with 25HRs, and people will hate him, and the Yankees will be stuck with his huge contract.
