I really feel like throwing a chair at my tv when I watch our bullpen and defense blow game after game. Our offense is off the charts. If only Frank McCheap and Colletti would have just got us some decent pitching in the off season! Ughhh! This is going to be a long season, if something isnt done. Either get all these pitchers to a head shrink or be planning to make some moves.

I saw them arguing during the game but neither myself or the announcers knew what was going on... Seems like every time A-Hole does something stupid he just does a like he has no clue what's going on...

I'm taking A-Rod's side on this, and it's not because I'm a Yankee fan.

1) As the article points out, if you're a young player with no real reputation, you don't call out one of the league's biggest stars, especially over something so ridiculous.

and

2) If this is an unwritten rule, I think it's also an unheard of one. Since everyone hates A-Rod, if he yelled at any runner that made it to 3rd for being on his base, maybe people would realize how ridiculous Braden's reaction was.

Ya the Yanks disappointed me yesterday as well. So we both lost..the triple play was really amazing though. I didn't see that happening. I had to back up the dvr because i still couldn't believe it. They made it look easy.

As far as A-rod and his little thing with the pitches was odd. I'm still trying to figure that out. So he walked over his mound? Cry me a river.

I agree as well. I've never even heard of such an "etiquette", and if there is one it's beyond ridiculous. And to top it off Braden threatens A-Rod if it happens again! Hilarious! By any chance does anyone know if the Yankees are going to play the A's again this year? Would love to see that possibly happen.

During the Yankee game a few minutes ago, Teix got hit by a pitch, moved to second on A-Rod's base hit.

Then Cano gets a base hit, and Teix comes running around third.

And plowed

straight

through

the catcher.

It was one of the best catcher/runner crashes I've seen live, and Teix's aggressive base-running (he would've been safe anyway, and didn't have to steamroll the catcher) seemed justified, given how he was just hit earlier in the inning.

I like Teix...I hate the fact that he's been struggling but so is Swisher and Johnson (finally got a hit after a 17 at bat slump) so he's not the only one. He got hit by the pitch but I don't think it was intentional. He then plowed into Wilson who was making his 1st start of the season. Neither of the managers didn't have a problem with it but he was going to be safe no matter what and wasn't even guarding the plate. I wouldn't have even slid into home that how safe he was. Definitely intentional...I thought it was cruel but that's baseball. I'm waiting for the Angels to retaliate...I wonder what Matsui will do?
