Just got back from Toronto. The Yanks/Jays series was pretty good. Can't complain with the results even though the Jays could have swept the last 2 series against the Yanks and Rays. This is the difference between good and great teams. Great teams close games out.

We're learning... Go Jays!

PS got my picture taken with Ace(the Mascot) and got to beat the Rally Drum with him in the 9th on Sunday lol.

I was greedy, wanted the Sox sweep, haha - but the O's won that last game although the Sox sure did make it close in the 9th...

The Rangers have already signed one of their first round picks, 22nd pick Kellan Deglan. In addition, 15th pick Jake Skole is near a deal. The Rangers wanted to use their first round picks on guys they knew they could get signed and into their system quickly. In baseball you can negotiate before the draft so they had a deal in place with Deglan before the draft and are already deep in negotiations with Skole. Skole had a football scholarship with Georgia Tech but has already informed coaches that he will be signing with the Rangers.

Yo on a fantasy note tell me what yall think of this trade. I agreed to trade Tim Lincecum (ranked 65 overall) for Magglio Ordonez (ranked 27 overall) & Matt Garza (ranked 120 overall). Thoughts? Got Em!!

don't got em

but I guess it really isn't like football where Lincecum is like near Peyton Manning, but Garza will most likely be in the post season, I don't follow the giants close enough, and maybe the tigers can make a run at a spot

I guess I'd do it Garza could get hot.

That might be a bit of a stretch. I'd give the Rays more like 50/50 odds at best of making the postseason.

Ohhh no no no no! Tim Lincecum is playing some of his worst baseball right now, and that's still not that bad. Lincecum will get hot, he has won two STRAIGHT Cy Youngs, and we all know what happens when Tim catches fire. Garza is a very very average pitcher, and while Ordonez is a pretty solid hitter, I don't think they equal out to Tim Lincecum worthy.

I really did it to get a good hitter as I need hitting. My pitching staff is pretty damn good actually. I have Santana, Pelfrey, Price, Romero, Oswalt, Greinke, and then Im swapping Lincecum for Garza and adding Ordonez to my hitting lineup. I think its ok but Lincecum is a beast! Got Em!!

But if he did have some kind of No hitter, perfect game going and they took him out I think their would be madness.
