Ok, maybe just MAYBE this kid is the real deal. Strikes out the side in the 7th, 14 K's and still throwing 99 MPH in the 7th...

His strikeout/walk ratio is 14/0. Amazing.

A rocket shot grand slam from Carlos Pena! That grand slam almost hit the scoreboard in right field! 8-0 Rays!

Carlos is having one hell of a game... 2 HRs with 5 RBIs!

The catcher is Pudge, one of the best to ever play the position. I'll bet even Pudge is shocked at how good he is though.

Havn't been watching that one but it looks like Niemann has a no-hitter for Tampa through 5 innings.

Glad Pena is playing better. He'd been aweful this year.

Strasburg's next start could be against Cleveland. I could see him striking out another dozen plus against that team.

Did! Just gave up a single with one out in the top of the 6th! I wasn't going to say anything about it, until after the 7th!

I have a feeling that record is going to beat many times by this guy. If he were allowed to pitch 9 innings tonight he'd have at least 16-17 K's.

Wow, didn't realize his HR/RBI total was that good batting just .183. Actually his OBP is still .300 which really isn't THAT bad.

EDIT: Looked it up. It's Clemens and Wood with 20.
