That's some rumor that got started a while ago (maybe a year ago?) and it's seemed to irritate her ever since. Based on the way she's been dressing recently, it's almost as if she wants to make sure people stop believing the rumor.

I think she even makes a reference to it in the video for one of her songs.

Chad, I just had a vision of what the Twinkies would be like if Torii Hunter and Johan Santana never left in free agency and I like it, I like it a lot. There's a good chance we'd be the best team in baseball instead of the Devil Rays.

If the Twins had gotten their new stadium a couple years sooner I wonder if they could have afforded to keep them. Their attendance has soared this year so I imagine they will be in better position to resign top-tier players in the future. I know Mauer is a hometown favorite but I was really surprised they broke the bank for him. I'm always glad to see smaller market teams able to resign their young stars.

The Twins are second to none is scouting/producing great young talent. There was a time when Billy Beane and the A's were tops but I really think the Twins and Rays have eclipsed them in that respect.

I was starting to get disappointed with my Braves and their problems developing talent. After producing a mass of superstars in the 1990's they had been in a bit of a funk for a good many years. Thankfully their farm system is on a big upswing churning out great young talent like like Hanson, McCann, Prado, Heyward, etc.

Carl Crawford will be gone in free agency, likely to the Yankees. Honestly, given his game is built around speed, the next contract he gets will likely be a vast overpay by the team that signs him.

Tampa needs to sign its young pitchers like Price to long-term deals. It backfired with Kazmir, but Price looks to have a higher ceiling.

IMO they need to just trade him before it comes to that. Even the Rays front office have admitted they cannot afford to keep him. If they aren't planning on resigning him, which financially they cannot do anyway they may as well trade him for some good prospects.

Price is a must sign guy. They need to lock him in for as long as possible. It's pretty obvious he's going to be a top-notch starter for many years.

IMO, Kazmir is overrated! He mostly only goes 5IP! Besides, the Rays got a good deal with the trade with 2 minor league players and S.Rod!

On another positive note for the Braves Jurrjens will be back fairly soon. He's back from injury and rehabing in Triple-A. Jurrjens has been possibly the best Braves starter the past few years. Remarkable that Atlanta has done so well the past two months with Jurrjens on the DL.

Kazmir always had the talent to be a 20 game winner. Too bad he let it all go to waste. Rays unloaded him at the right time. He's making $8 mill this year.

Burnett has always been erratic. He either pitches a gem or gets bombed for 6+ runs it seems.

Considering how aweful the D-Backs pitching is the Yankees could easily come back from this 5-0 1st inning deficit. They are dead last in team ERA this year.

Weird, only three teams in baseball have a winning percentage OVER .600 right now, and all three are in the AL East. The Braves are right there with a .600 even, though.
