Manny has pretty much destroyed Yankee pitching for the better part of his career. I was really glad when he went to L.A.

Lifetime against the Yankees Manny's stats are as follows. His numbers against the Yankees are marginally better than his career overall numbers.

Oddly enough his numbers in the 2004 ALCS were not very good, despite the Sox winning 4 straight from the Yankees in the big comeback. He had zero RBI's that series and scored only 3 runs.

"His conduct wasn't acceptable," Cubs general manager Jim Hendry said. "His actions toward his teammates and staff were not acceptable.

The Rays get no hit for the third time in less than a year, but the good news is at least this time it was not a perfect game... far from it, actually. Edwin Jackson walked eight in his 149 pitch *masterpiece*. And with Boston also losing, the AL East lead for the Yankees is up to three games.

So do any of the Yankee fans here know if there has been any bad blood between Cano/Yankees and Padilla in the past? I still don't know why he drilled Cano unless it's just Padilla living up to his name.

Wow, I thought this thread would be a big bash of the Rays?

I guess I'll do it...

The Rays suck...Plain and simple! Unacceptable to get no-hit 3 times within the year! I think it's time to fire Joe Madden! He tries to outsmart the other team only to look stupid!

My perfect scenario is the Yanks getting in the playoffs by winning the AL east and Ray are the AL Wild Card

IMO, i rather have Rays in playoffs then Red Sox

I still think the Yankees and Rays both make the playoffs with some combination of AL East champ and Wild Card.
