With the amount of bandwagon fans here they better start giving him runs because most of these people don't care if he can keep it under 2 runs every start, but doesn't win, they'll just say he lost and isn't worth coming back to see when thats far from the case.

I don't think he would want to come back to that disaster of a team.

I watch baseball everyday, and I couldn't have told you that either of those guys play for the Rays. I've never heard of David Price.

Yeah, I didn't mean to make it seem like Piniella would want to come back. I would think he would have retired after the season even if his contract didn't expire. Ryne Sandberg is a strong possibility for the job. The Cubs have been grooming him for years, and he's now the manager of the Cubs Triple-A affiliate. Joe Torre is a possibility as well.

David Price was the All Star game starting pitcher for the American League.

Man, wild finish to a wild game between the Orioles and the Rays tonight. Rays lost, Yankees lost, Red Sox currently tied 4-4 in the 6th with Oakland.

Good day for ATL fans; we beat a division leader (San Diego, 4-1) and we're now 6.5 games up in the division! (by far the largest lead in baseball )

EDIT: Wow, the Dodgers/San Fran game has gotten ugly in the 5th-7th innings. 3 hit batsmen, 2 near-hit batsmen, 2 ejections, 1-run ball game, etc.

I wish Donuts Hendry would be gone too. He has really put this team in a hole for the most part with some of the contracts. True he made some shrewd trades Lee for Choi, getting Aramis for nothing, trading Bradley for Silva, picking up Edmonds in 08 but the Soriano, Fukudome, Zambrano have been disasters and he still hasn't solved that leadoff spot since Lofton left. Everytime I listen to him talk I am thinking 'Does this guy know what the hell he is doing?' Looks like he will be back in '11

Probably feels like his team is being sucked into a black hole from which they will never return.

Feels pretty shitty....but lots of brush backs, hit batters, cocky Giant fans, angry Dodgers fans and police = one of the most entertaining games I've been to. Oh and seeing Timmy get rocked for 5 runs was pretty cool as well! Man the fans let him have it when he was taken out of the game, lol.

That now game joins the Florida/TB "vuvuzela" game as the weirdest game of the year (between all the hit-batsmen, the ejections, and the obscure rule violation in the 9th).
