Very few players are worth that kind of money, the only player on your team I'd give it to right now is ROY Strasburg.

I'm not sure what he meant by the Nats having a good core of young players. I guess he meant Strasburg. Not much else coems to mind.

Big series in Tampa this weekend for my Yanks. All we have to do is take 2 out of 3 and we'll be 3 up (if we sweep, we'll be 5 up). Even if we lose 2 out of 3, we'll be one game up (as long as we dont' get swept, we'll leave Tamp still in 1st. All 3 games have been sold out (the vast majority going will be Yankee fans).

When was the last time a Rays game was sold out (I don't even believe that they sold out any WS games in 08 but I could be wrong).

Number 1 pick in this year's draft Bryce Harper (assuming he signs), and Drew Storen, who was the number 10 pick in last year's draft and is already playing with the Nationals.

Zimmerman is pretty young, and also Jordan Zimmerman was doing quite well before his injury.

My Yanks are on the verge of landing Lance Berkman. As per Buster Olney on ESPN. Also, the White Sox just traded for Edwin Jackson.

For what reason? I guess he could DH. They already have a pretty good 1B in Teixeira. A few years ago this would have been a big pickup... these days with his .240-something Avg not so much.

Oswalt is pitching like crap in his first star for Philly. So far 3 runs given up in 3 innings against a crap Nationals lineup.
