Doubt it. Not anytime soon at least. Mark McGwire consistently gets about 25% every year the Hall votes when you need something like 75% to get in. I'll bet guys like Bonds and A-Rod get 50% tops and don't get elected until MANY years after they are eligible. So far I see nothing that would lead me to believe the HOF voters will let any known user in any time soon.

Bonds has 762 and there's no way he's getting into the Hall. It's going to be interesting how this era works for the HOF. Are they going to keep all the roiders out (Big Mac, Sammy, Bonds, A Rod, Manny, Big Poppi, Palmeiro, Petite) or do they eventually decide to include some with some sort of footnote about their steroid use? I can't see the voters including anyone that there is fairly solid proof of steroid use unless there's some sort of rule change.

HOF voters have a VERY long memory. Bonds won't get in just like Rose wouldn't even if he were on the ballot. Pete Rose easily put up HOF numbers too before the gambling scandel just like Bonds did before roiding. The voters have proven they just don't make a distinction.

I think there will be multiple ramafications for the MLB HOF.

1. guys like Clemens, Bonds, McGwire, Sosa and A-Rod won't get in despite putting up massive career numbers.
2. This might push more voters to elect some players with lesser numbers into the Hall who otherwise not make not quite make the cut for "playing the game the right way."

Anyway, I don't believe A-Rod will get in the hall (neither should any player who has been found to be using PED's). Bonds hasn't been found (yet) of have used PED's but, he's highly suspicious.

I think Arod will get in the HOF.... and if they exclude players for roids.... then they need to get the entire list out in the open and obviously not let anyone in then

The hardest thing about that is it's not always possible to know who juiced up and who didn't. I do think they should keep the proven juicers out but that's just me.

yea, just release all the names on the list and lets move on...becuase, for example... say a name like Ken Griffey Jr. is on that list of known roid users, then that is going to totally change everyones view on who did roids... you basically wont be able to tell and they should just let everyone in with a statement lumping all players from 19** - 20** or whatever years all used steroid etc etc

A-Rod's struggles this year continue, he did get 600 but he's 1 for 4 in at-bats in this game, guess it wasn't just the pressure of hitting 600 that was making him bat poorly.

I personally don't see how you can exclude a whole generation of ball players from the HOF. Yes they took the juice but some of these players were going to be HOF worthy despite the padding of their numbers from roids.
