All of the above. I've been to quite a few games at Tropicana over the years and it STINKS. It's a horribly designed ballpark and not fan friendly at all. The security there is also notorious for pushing the fans around. Last time I went to a game was 2008 and I will never go there again.

That being said I strongly believe that even a better located (in Tampa), well designed retractible roof stadium would still not draw the fans necessary to keep a successful MLB team. The Tampa/St. Pete area just isn't a good place for a MLB team and is destined to end up relocating out of state. And that's really ashame since they have such a great young team.

Odd introductory press conference by Manny yesterday. He spoke in Spanish the entire time and was translated by Joey Cora. This is odd since he speaks fluent English. Maybe he's decided it will be easier to deal with the Chicago media if he refuses to speak English to them, or maybe he got the syndrome Sammy Sosa had where he suddenly forgot how to speak English when he was testifying before Congress.

Been to a lot of stadiums, and I agree with you that Tropicana Field is the worst. It feels like an indoor college track facility. Awful atmosphere.
