Pavano is only 6-4 in his last 10 starts with 3 complete games, would love to see him go 9 innings tonight to earn a win with about 2-3 ER.

Well the Phillies are the Evil Empire to us Dodger fans. I really, really hope we have some new blood in the Series this year. I'm sick to death of both these stupid teams. I'm hoping for a Braves vs Twins matchup. Fat chance, I know.

Fat chance for the Braves, who are crumbling at the wrong time. We have a chance as long as we don't have to face both the Yankees and the Rays in the post-season. I think we could probably get past 1 of those teams but not both.

How are the brackets lining up right now? Who would the Twins face in the first round? Texas?

No idea, especially since the AL East is still up in the air and the Wild Card could be a lot of different teams. Looking on ESPN, not really seeing anything about it. Hoping my team is up by 7 games after tonight.

The only thing up in the air about the AL is the Wild Card between the Yanks and Rays. No way Boston, Chicago or Oakland are catching anything at this point.

Yeah Johnny Damon would've been a much better move, better hitter, teammate and fielder, kind of makes you wonder what Chicago is thinking.

Twins and Texas almost certainly won't face because it's practically impossible for the AL East to not claim the wild card and division teams can't face in the first round. Barring some sort of collapse or surge it will end up being the Twins versus the wild card team and the AL East champion (regardless of who it is) facing the Rangers.

That sucks, we're 7-3 against the Rangers this year and would almost certainly knock them out of the post-season.
