Wrong. The Yankees hold a half game lead, as they have played (and won) one more game than the Rays.

Speaking of the top of the AL East, how does it look from afar?

I'm a realist of coarse the Jays aren't going to make the playoffs but we exceeded our expectations this season.

Just makes it that much more enjoyable to hate on your beloved Yanks. The higher they are the harder they'll fall, and they will fall this year.

Hey if hating on a team that is actually in the playoff hunt a month before the season is over, is what keeps you tuned into the MLB, then more power to ya. I'd probably be scratching and clawing for a way to keep myself in the season if my team were 14 games out of first place too.

I think there are more Yankee haters than you think. Besides I've hated on the Yankees all my life so this isn't just a one year thing for me, don't let it bother you it's just my opinion.

I'm actually rooting for the Phillies, I've been a fan for awhile and it would be really deserving for Halladay to finally get a Championship.

As for the Jays they aren't going to make the playoffs, as to my surprise

, but they did acheive greater success than I expected and the future does look bright (that's all I'm saying).

I just looked at the NL East, West and WC. It's one huge traffic jam. That's one set up for a hell of a finish.
