So's mine and I still noticed, just because our teams are in the AL doesn't mean we shouldn't pay attention to the NL as well.

Only time I care about the NL is when we play a team from that league (remember I live in NYC and the Mets are here and nobody is really caring about them and sometimes people forget they are even around).

I have a hard time watching NL teams except the Nationals

. It feels like such a different game the AL games.

The National League is not what it once was, to be sure. The American League is where it's at and I think that's part of the reason people don't watch baseball as much as they used to. Over half the league is just not good enough to contend on an annual basis with the teams at the top.

Umps really shouldn't let such an important decision be affected by the weight of the game being played.

Don't agree with that one bit. Why have extra umps on the field during the Playoffs if everything is equal?

Here's a thought for the umps: "walk the hell away from the batter". I'm glad Joe Torre recently called them out on their behavior.

Ya know..I was just going to post that the Yankees need to win this game. Then the Rays win the game..great. The Yankees are in trouble..the Rays and Texas are going to really give the Yanks a run for their money.

The worst part is Sabitha gave up 0 ER and he will either get a loss or a ND for that performance.

He already has been charged with assault and harassment after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend's father, during which he tore a ligament in his thumb that ended his season.
