You assume a lot if you think the Yankees are going to finish ahead of the Twins, look at their respective records in September and their respective remaining schedules.

like i said...i dont care what the schedule looks like... we almost got swept by the Orioles a week ago... doesnt matter... anyone can win on any given day

Edit: but yes...taking the schedule into consideration, you guys have the easier games coming up...

The lawyer who wrote the agreement that gave Frank McCourt sole ownership of the Dodgers, an agreement which is being disputed in the divorce of Frank and Jamie McCourt, admitted switching pages in the document to give Frank McCourt sole ownership of the team. This revelation could be enough for the judge to throw out the agreement and make Jamie McCourt a co-owner of the Dodgers. If this happens it's very likely the team will have to be sold, as it's unlikely either McCourt could afford to buy out the other.

These last two wins by the Yankees over the Rays might be huge for determining the division champ and home field, as the schedule is a beast for the rest of the way.

On another note... I think Halladay's 20th win just about seals up his first NL Cy Young award.

now its a battle for best record in the league...im sure the Twins will be resting a lot of guys now , no? i know Girardi has said he will be resting players in the upcoming games regardless of if it costs them the division
