In colorado they use a Humidor for all the balls to take the Umph out of the ball to compensate all that extra elevation you get up in the Rockies... or something to that extent... The rumor has been that the Rockies would get balls that werent in the humidor to get that extra umph and elevation

The next week is going to be pretty exciting for the NL West. Love watching tight races like this, even if my team aint in it.

its def exciting, especially since Giants havent been in contention for quite some while.. ive been stressing all week... With the Braves playing as bad as they are right now i can see both Giants and Padres making the playoffs... But with the way the Philies are playing right i dont think it matters who makes the playoffs.. they seem poised to make another run at the world series...

The Phillies have been the best team in baseball for the past 5-6 years, why don't they have anything to show for it?

I would love, love for the Phillies and Yankees to get knocked out before the World Series. Hell I'd even root for the Giants rather than those two teams.

Still not sure how the Phillies are in your division, they're on the opposite end of the country.

Considering the Twins are rarely on here so I never see games, not really. I do know a bit about other teams in the American League, trying to learn more about the National League.

Well being knocked out of the playoffs two years in a row by them might have something to do with it. For me personally it's their obnoxios fans more than the team itself. They're worse than Yankee fans, which is saying something. But at least Yankees fans can stand behind all their titles.

Yeah Philadelphia fans are jerky, I think their lack of titles for so very long has something to do with that, then again it might just be that hideous city they live in.
