No, not at all. I'm a Braves fan but with our injuries I just can't see us beating SF much less Philly in a series. The Giants have a good enough rotation to give the Phillies a real series.

Giants def have a good enough rotaion as the Phils.. but our bats are no where close

Depends on how generation is defined but ya, over the past half dozen or so years I think he is the finest starter in the game. Imagine his career win total right now had he played for a good team all those years.

Or just not a team in the AL East. Even if he played for a franchise like Twins or A's, any team that's always near the playoffs. He's the kind of pitcher that could just dominate and put a team over the top.

I guess the Phillies made the right move afterall...

I remember seeing him when he was in AAA, and even back then he was the best pitcher I'd ever seen. From the couple times I saw Strasburg in AAA, I'd say he was even better than Halladay... but who knows how he'll bounce back in a year or whenever he gets back.

As crazy as Halladay is, his no-hitter today means his next outing can probably only be worse.

The Reds should just pack up and go home out of shame.

On that last play where the throw had to be made to first base I almost cringed a little thinking Halladay might get screwed over. Thanks Jim Joyce!

What does owned mean exactly?

Surely it doesn't mean being 4-4 against a team.

If anything, they've only owned Rivera (if not for his blown saves, the Yankees would be 6-2 against Texas this year).
