Francisco Liriano is a bad joke, after this series is over, they should hurt him so badly that he'll need 3 Tommy John surgeries, pretty much ending his career.

Well that sucks, I liked seeing the AL East competitive, anything that makes life more difficult for the Yankees is okay by me.

I just guess Yankees fans and I disagree, have seen Gardenhire as a joke after the second time the Yankees summarily beat us in the post-season. Just one of those coaches who can't properly prepare his team for the post-season.

dude.... your really going to complain about getting knocked out by the Yankees each time though? you act like you keep losing to some crappy team every year...the AL is tough, thats just how it is

Not that tough if the Yankees beat the Twins so easily every single year and they're supposed to be one of the best teams in baseball. No wonder the idiots almost got contracted out of the league.

Just a very frustrated Twins fan, the fact that it's the Yankees every single time and they're so popular at my employer makes it even worse. We'll see how it goes tonight I guess, hoping Pavano can pull a win out of his nether regions. By the way I heard recently that other than the Boston area, Yankees are hated the most in Minnesota and I fully believe it.

Seriously I'd be giddy as hell if the Dodgers were as good as the Twins, no matter is they lose in the playoffs or not. There are fans of teams that never even get to taste the postseason.

I dunno, hopefully my family will help me see things more clearly regarding the Twins during my trip to see the Vikings lose to the Cowboys next week. Just so sick of a team that's won so many championships knocking mine out every single year and we haven't won one since I was a young boy.

This could be just what the Twins needed to turn their playoff losing streak around... Pavano is probably the most hated ex-Yankee playing right now, and whenever a hated player faces his former team he usually comes out victorious...

Completely agree. And it's kind of funny how they all of a sudden come out to support the team now that the playoffs have started. The Trop was still drawing 12k no more than two weeks ago, and there is just no excuse for that... especially seeing as they had the top overall record in the league. It's not like they've put a Triple-A team out there the past 3 years like they used to.
