True...BUT Lee is coming up on Monday. A lot of my friends were saying it would be an easy series blah blah and I kept saying don't underestimate Texas and here we go. True, but home-field advantage may be spoiled by Lee in Game 3 and Burnett in Game 4.

I think the Yankees, if they're going to win this series, need to win it in 6, meaning they need at least 2 of 3 of the NY games. Game 7 in Texas with Lee pitching doesn't sound good.

He can go for all I care. I really believe he will because he never debunked it. If he really want to stay here, he could have easily have said "I have no interest in the Cubs job because I want to stay here with the Yankees".

First of all, I can't believe what I'm reading. I can't think of a single reason for a manager who, up to this point, is 1 for 1 in WS attempts to defect from "the" franchise to anywhere else. And why a Yankees fan would say that. I think he's a fantastic manager. And his best as a manager is yet to come.

Second, I turn the Phil's game on and to my surprise, the Giants are up. I'd much rather face the Giants than the Phillies in the WS...

And third, since all the country is conceding game 3 to the Rangers because Lee is pitching, I don't see why anyone would waste Pettite on that start. And then nobody has any confidence, it seems, in Burnett. So why not switch those starts?

He's an Illinois native, can be close to family. Was a Cub. Would be immortalized if he brought a winning team to that city. A chance to get out of the NY media circus.

It's a good thing that the games are played on the field and not on paper or on people's words. If you're watching the NLCS, Halladay it got rocked so why wouldn't Lee suffer the same (we beat Lee earlier in the year).?

Also, Joe makes many stupid moves that make no sense. Many Yankee fans would love to see him go.

Yeah, I've been saying that all along. I'm still as nervous about that game as if it were any other game. But still, those "stupid" moves seemed to have worked last year might work again this year. But then Steve makes a good point.

Huge gm 1 victory for the Giants.. No one gave us a chance to beat Roy Halladay in gm 1 And they did just that!!!.... Another close nail biter... i expect this the whole series..

Its gonna be close. It should pay off with all the lefties in the phils lineup. Then Matt Cain can shut it down for the home opener game 3.
