Jose Guillen is being investigated by the DEA and Major League Baseball for ordering shipments of HGH during the 2010 season.
Guillen had boxes of the performance-enhancer sent to a Bay Area address that can be linked to his wife. He was also involved in PED investigations during the 2007 season, when it was discovered that he ordered over $19,000 of HGH from 2002-2005. All of this could lead to a 50-game suspension for the veteran outfielder and impending free agent. Oct. 28 - 9:35 pm et

Tell me about it He didn't play in the playoffs and was mostly on the bench when he arrived. Good riddance, I didn't like the pick up since the beginning, especially with his track record of being a bad apple in the locker room.

I think the Rangers bats will come alive in game 3....

They have no choice, I just hope Johnathan Sanchez can pitch like he did against the braves and not like how he played against the Phillies. It will be interesting to see if the Rangers lose will they ask Cliff Lee to pitch game 4? From what I read and heard, he has never done it and is supposedly against doing it as well. Maybe he is getting ready for that fat Yankee's pay check

I believe in MLB even clubhouse level employees get championship rings. Maybe even the batboys. It's a complete joke. You should have to be on the playoff roster to get one IMO. And maybe give one to the guys who missed the playoffs due to injury, but that's it.

I certainly hope all these yahoos aren't getting the same type of bling the roster people are getting.

I'd like to think our boys have shed the jitters and will play like they did in the DS and CS's. But it's up to our starting pitchers from now on. If they can't go 8 or at least into the 7th, then I wouldn't feel comfortable. At this point, the only reliever I trust in is our star rookie closer, Neftali Feliz. Sure he wasn't too hot in the DS, but was more than decent against the Yanks. C'mon! Win a game, dammit!!!

There could be any number of reasons why they're not winning so far, I will say since this is the first time your team has ever been to the World Series, that in itself is a strong accomplishment they can hang their hat on after the season.

It's up to each team to decide who gets a ring, and generally the players get a different ring than the other people (clubhouse, front office, etc) get.

Because the Rangers have never won a WS, and because the Giants haven't won one in forever, I think both teams would likely give out a bunch of rings to celebrate. Boston gave out a lot in '04, and the Cardinals gave out a ton in '06 (I think close to 100).

Then again, I don't know why any team wouldn't give out a bunch. For most teams, winning the WS isn't a regular event, so you might as well go all out when you do win it. And the Yankees have so much money that they probably have no qualms about handing out tons of rings.

Makes sense. Joe Oliver is a regular guest on a local sports radio program. He said a couple times that his 1990 World Championship ring was valued at
<$100 because Marge Schott was too cheap to give them real rings.

Girardi thinks it might have affected the left-hander's mechanics, but his numbers suggest otherwise. tough to call todays game with Sanchez on the mound.. his last two starts vs Phills werent that good.... Expecting to see quite a few runs scored today in the hitter friendly Rangers stadium... Either way should be another great game... Cant believe Giants have scored 20 runs in the first 2 game

ive got plenty of faith in him... I just hope we dont see the Sanchez we saw in the last 2 starts.. and more of the no hit kind of stuff Sanchez can put out there... either way it should be another close exciting game.. Good Luck my friend...
