Nobody watches MLB even when the more well known teams are in the World Series. Monday Night regular season NFL games draw more viewers then any World Series games these days. Even last year's Phillies-Yankees series had near record low ratings.

That Packers-Vikings monday night game a couple weeks ago drew more vewers than two World Series games put together. The problem isn't that it's Giants-Rangers in the World Series, but rather people care more about regular season football than post-season baseball.

it just shows how popular the NFL has gotten in America... Although Baseball #2 in popularity, nothing will ever touch NFL in terms of ratings and revunue.. hope the dumbass owners/players come up with some type of agreement and we dont have to see a lockout...

It would be one of the biggest mistakes in the history of American business if the NFL actually had a lockout. I have to believe both sides aren't foolish enough to believe they can gain from that scenario.

I may not be in the mood after the game so if the Giants win tonight, damn, but they deserve it. I think we're capable of coming back. I'm pretty confident in the three guys we're sending to the mound the next three games, but our bullpen just can't keep it together. Either way, these Giants are a damn good team. And I usually hate the team that beats my team, but I can't bring myself to do that with these guys.

I'm getting that feeling in my stomach I get about 3 times a year (Rangers, Spurs, Packers). Well, actually twice since the Rangers never get anywhere near this close. God, it hurts so bad!!!
