I still think he stays in Texas.. so what do you guys think of his value though... has it gone down since his 2 World series losses? I think he'll get a 5-yr deal at $100mil...

Yup, the Yankees fans probably had a lot to do with the vast disparity there, logic dictated that the Giants were much more likely to do it. Honestly I think if the Rangers pitching staff was a bit better and it wasn't their first time there they would've put up more resistance.

My guess is around $20 mill/per from Texas or $22 mill/per from the Yankees. Depends on how much less he'll take to stay with Texas.

If that's what "logic dictated" why didn't you make some mad cash betting the farm on San Fran to win? The Giants were an undersog at the outset of the series.

There is 1 truth in team sports and that is that the team with the better defense prevails. Texas was in their best season ever and they were in their first ever World Series appearance, that's a lot of pressure.

I think he'll get around 5-years/$125 million. CC Sabathia is averaging $23 million per year and there's no way the Yankees will offer less than that. He could end up taking less to stay in Texas though.
