It's blasphemy is what it is...and it's not any better as the Giants are getting killed by the Browns.

The Yankees better take 2/3.

I'm just happy our young pitchers seem to be showing promise.

like you guys, now we have no closer so even if we get good pitching nobody to close

The Jays still have lots of games to win to be back in WildCard chase. Jays won't make playoffs!

I don't think he was implying that just that they could be better given a closer and some consistency.

Man, i'm not a moron. The 2009 Blue Jays aren't going anywhere.

All I said was we are better than our record indicates with 25 one run losses.

And JP is not that bad of a GM. He's clearly a victim of the steroid era... guys like Wells and others all kicked butt until 2007ish... I wouldn't be surprised if a guy like Wells was on the juice for all his great seasons, signed a long term deal, then got scared and stopped taking roids and now sucks.

Based on Wells numbers after 2006, you had to sign the guy long term. He is not the only player who now royally sucks all of a sudden... things that make you go hhmmmmmmmmmm!

JP has been great and getting young talent.. he is no where near the worst GM in MLB. To say that is very uneducated, esp for someone who is not a Jays fan.

Well, he couldve traded and gotten a lot for Halladay.

Now, he will likely have to keep him!
