The Angels for the most part built their team through the farm system. They didn't really dab in FA as much (and they still don't as evidence by this off season).

Colon has pitched in 19 games the past 3 years total and I can find no record of him doing anything in 2010 whatsoever. Has he been injured, retired or what? He sounds like a waste of space to me.

We are - good riddance, Wells. What a terrible contract, but the GM responsible (Ricciardi) for that contract is no longer with the Jays.

Alas, the AL East is so incredibly tough - oh, for those glorious 1992 and 1993 seasons!

The AL east is once again only a two team race (NY & BOS).

Vlad is still a guy who can put up around 30 HR/110 RBI's per season. I can't see why he wouldn't get a deal worth more than $5 mill per year from someone.

The Marlins-Mariners series scheduled for June 24-26 has been moved from Miami to Seattle because U2 is playing a concert at the Marlins stadium on June 27 and needs time to setup. Florida will still be considered the home team and therefore there won't be a DH and Florida will bat last.
