eh, he seems like a good guy... hes just dumb... guy has no common sense...he needs to accept the fact he is a tool and things like this wouldnt be a big deal

My Favorite Team: St. Louis Cardinals

AL Central: Detroit Tigers
AL East: Tampa Bay Rays
AL West: Seattle Mariners

NL Central: St. Louis Cardinals
NL East: Atlanta Braves
NL West: Colorado Rockies(I really dont like any team in this divison)

There is no chance in hell of a deal happening by the deadline. They are way too far apart in both money and years to make a deal in the next 5 days. He's going to become a free agent, but I'd still guess he stays in St. Louis, especially since neither the Yankees or Red Sox are in the market for a first baseman.

It would supprise me if they got a deal done by spring training. It seems like Pujols and the Cardinals are on different Planets with trying to agree to a contract.

But maybe it will help, that Matt Holiday did say he would defer money to get Pujols Signed.

EDIT: But it looks like he is only defering 2mil/year on his contract. So I dont know if that will help at all.

He contends that he was "thrown under the bus" by baseball after coming forward with this information. Also of note is that Dukes is evidently trying a new career as rapper "Fly Eli." It's safe to assume that his career in baseball is over."

Albert Pujols apparently rejected the Cardinals offer 2 weeks ago, and there have been no progress since then. Tomorrow is Pujols' deadline to end negotiations, so it looks like he'll become a free agent after the season.
