The Mets didn't win a road series last year until June and that was inter league. They didn't beat an NL team on the road until August

. It's pretty sweet to see them take the opening weekend series in Florida.

Zito gave up a 2 run home run in the first, but has really settled down retiring 11 straight batters... Hope Giants can score some runs

Man, my problem with Zito is he gets reckless. The other teams always end up too far ahead when he pitches, digging the Giants into a hole they can't get out of. It's really, really aggravating. Thank goodness he finally calmed down enough and the game wasn't a huge blowout. I really wish we had split the series though.

Just one week.. not bad.. its all in fun... last year he had to wear a Giants av for 1 week, so i guess were even
