It was pretty much a big failure. No one was paying attention in the stands or in the broadcast booth. If you look at it you can barely even see it because of the light pinkish fonts (genius there). All it really was, truth be told, was Giant fans seeking validation from their big brother.

Just be grateful you still have a team. Better yet be grateful your great teams were able to compete and ultimately win the world series. My Expos had such a dominant team in 1994 only for the strike to erase what could have been a world series championship for Montreal. Felipe Alou was on tv on friday in an interview and explained how the Expos team could have contended for a decade if there was no strike and the team wasn't disassembled in 1995.

It's already our best start since something like '95, but I think if Holland weren't a starter, which he's doing today, we could very well end up being 6-0. The way we're hitting though, I don't know that it matters who is pitching.

I had the same feeling on sunday when i said "the sox cant lose 3 in row" but they sure did

Only 3 players have ever hit 4 HR's in the first 4 games of the season: Willie Mays, Mark McGwire, and NELSON CRUZ!!!

Ian's still got a shot to join them. Bottom of the 5th, he just got walked though.

I just came back from the Yankee game and man, it was a small crowd. It was pretty cool weather (I was wearing a long sleeve shirt under my Yankee jersey. I won't be making that mistake tomorrow night (it's suppose to be colder). I'll have a sweater over my long sleeve shirt and my Yankee Jersey over my sweater. Good team by my bombers though. Also, it's way too early to be high or low on your team.
