Wonder if the contract issues are hurting Pujols a little. So far he's been terrible this year at .185 with 1 HR, 4 RBI.

I'm really happy to see Cincy finally start fielding top-notch teams. It's been a long time since they were relevant. They had some terrific teams when I was a kid watching baseball in the late-80's through mid-90's.

Nice win by the Giants today with a walkoff double by Rowand, giants win 5-4

So get this... Last year opening day, Rowand gets the game winning walk off hit... Giants end up winning the World series.... This year... Rowand again gets the game winning hit.... You see where im going with this...

yeah i know i remember as a kid (90's) going to games and they were the best of the best and in the past few years i've felt like a kid again i love it sadly tho i fear i will ever be able to experience the felling my dad had as a reds fan in the 70's with the big red machine he had a chance to go to every world series in that era

When the Phillies took a 3-0 lead in the 2nd inning with Cliff Lee pitching I thought for sure the Braves had no chance. Amazingly they hammered Lee for 6 runs in 3.1 innings and won 6-3.

Chipper and Brian McCann are killing it this season. And Tim Hudson had another very good performance.
