True, and as I posted about the other day, roughly 2/3rds of the decline in attendance this season is attributed to the Dodgers. It's pretty obvious that fans just stopped going to their games because of McCourt's mismanagement and all the bad press that resulted from lack of fan safety at the ballpark. Attendance overall isn't as bad as you'd think given the recession.

Good to see my Braves come around. Five straight wins to improve to 18-15. Just imagine how good we'd be if we actually had offense. Atlanta's pitching has given up the 2nd lowest number of runs in MLB, after Philly.

I am not liking what I see in Jason Heyward's swing. Teams are figuring out he can't hit good secondary stuff, he is missing way too many balls in the middle of the plate. He still hits it superhard when he does make contact, but that is becoming rarer and rarer. That is going to limit his upside if it is not corrected or improved.

Pretty astounding that Tampa Bay has a 17-14 record when only one of their starters is batting over .265 for the year and their team avg is .240.

Nice win for the Braves. Derek Lowe outdueled Cliff Lee for a 5-0 win. Lee still managed to get 16 K's in 7 innings.

Fall to 15-18 after being no hit by Verlander. Losing 9-0 and being no hit at home is INEXCUSABLE.

Where's the heart and grit?.....oh ya, it's in TeePee Town where a very young Tribe team is kicking Ass.

Ditto on Oakland. The A's have terrific pitching and zero offense. Almost all their starters are batting between .190 and .250 for the season.
