Yes, they are moving to a new stadium and changing their name to the Miami Marlins in 2012. It's going to have a retractable roof, which they really need. Though it will be the 3rd smallest stadium in MLB at only 37,000 seats. The dimensions of the field are quite a bit longer than the current one, so it would seem to be a pitcher's park. I believe this stadium will be better located that the old one too, near downtown Miami. Sounds like an amazing ballpark. If they can't drum up a fan base with this park they never will.

Bautista with 2 HR this afternoon for the Jays so far, that's 15 HR and we're only in mid May (plus he's missed 8 games this year).

This guy is clearly the best player in the game at this point in his career. No one can stop him unless they walk him.

Bautista on pace for 19-20 stolen bases. Walking him doesn't even stop him. He's post 35 Bonds at the plate with mid twenties Bonds all around game. I expected him to prove his doubters wrong, but not like this.

He's averaging a HR every 8 AB. At this pace he could beat Bonds 73 HR......legally.

Too bad 11 of his Homeruns are solo shots, else he'd have 35+ RBI by now.

Yeah he's been a machine for us this season. Just think if he didn't miss several games. I remember so many people ripping Toronto for giving him a big contract extension, but now we look really smart. Can you imagine how much he would have cost after this season?

Excellent win for us today. Those final two outs by: the K by Nefti and the throw out by Napoli and Elvis was a thing of beauty. With the win, we took this series against the AL West-leading Angels. We're now a half game back of the lead in what has turned out to be a pretty competitive division. Still, I can't wait until Josh and Nelly come back. Hurry up!!!

He's set to join their AA team in Frisco for a rehab stint.

Sounds like a Great ballpark. I like the fact they're changing their name to Miami. Hopefully the people in that city will get behind these guys and put their asses in those seats.

Back to .500 after sweeping the Twins in Minney. That's 5 in a row but we need more. Nice outting for Morrow today. He's coming back into form and Bautista is killing it.

I know the Reds are on a roll lately, but MAN! They started the bottom of the 6th inning down 4-0 and ended up scoring 7 runs!! As it stands now, they are in the top of the 8th leading the Cubs 7-4.

I'd give them time. But ya, right now the Yankees look terrible. They hammered Price for 5 runs in 5 innings today and somehow still managed to lose to Tampa. I'm starting to wonder if Jeter and Posada really have "hit a wall." Their offense is still good overall, but they don't seem to produce runs like they used to. It seems like most of their runs are from homers. Their team average is just .249, as bad as I can recall a Yankee team in recent memory.

They probably do need to make multiple big moves before the trade deadline to seriously compete for a championship this season. Namely they need another ace. I just cannot see a rotation of Sabathia/Burnett/Colon/Nova/Garcia/Hughes winning a championship.

Here's a type of score you rarely see these days with pitching making a big comeback. Cleveland leads KC 19-1 in the 7th. And Cleveland has only 1 hr in the game. The Indians are a big surprise this season.
