This Posey/Cousins thing has been completely blown out of proportion, it was a clean hit and he even apologized.. Dont get me wrong as much as i love Posey and hate to see injuries like this, this needs to stop, im even hearing that Cousins has recieve death threats? wtf?

I can't believe this is still an issue when I saw on ESPN that Torre had stepped in. Not sure what he can do but hopefully clearer heads will prevail. This is a sad career changing incident that I think will change the dynamic of the game. Catchers shouldn't just be crash test dummies at the plate.

Twins are up 6-2 in the bottom of the 7th so we should win our 3rd in a row, would be nice to see this become a 10+ winning streak but I doubt it.

20-37 still means they need to go on quite a tear just to reach .500, would be nice to start seeing 5-6 or even 7 game winning streaks now. Hitters need to get healthy, Liriano needs to stay healthy and the bullpen needs to stop blowing leads.

We are absolutely on fire right now. As good as our hitting has been, it's been quality starts by our starters. A CG shutout today by Derek Holland. If you'd have asked me last season when he was nothing more than a middle relief kind of guy giving up good leads to the Yanks in the CS, I would've said, "Hell no!" Same with Alexi. Anyways, we're 8-2 in our last 10. These few wins against the Indians have been huge. :bearclaw:

Twins look like they will win their 4th in a row as they lead 4-0 in the middle of the 6th but I doubt they will take more than 1 of the next 3 and possibly only 2 of the next 6 considering we're about to play Cleveland and Texas. So this little streak was nice but it will probably be over with shortly.

Well factor in games in which Josh and Nelly have played, I think they said we're something like 19-5. So, right now, we are on a tear! That Yankees series can't come fast enough.

Tim Lincecum is 5 strikeouts away from 1,000 career K's. The 8th all time pitcher to hit that mark in his first 5 seasons.

Hopefully we can duplicate your sweep and push for a 7 game winning streak. Yeah Pavano's a bum, he either has a very good game or gets shelled for 10+ runs, there is no in-between with him, hence his almost .500 career record.

Wow, I'd completely forgotten the MLB draft was today. The Pirates #1 pick overall went 6-8 with an ERA of like 3.30 for UCLA this season. Is this year's draft class really that bad?
