Man, im starting to worry about the Giants, they've lost 4 in a row, arent scoring any runs, and cant even pitch right now... Also our 4 game division lead is down to only 1 game

... Things need to turn around fast or were done

Well, this is going to be an interesting home stand for the Giants. Down 4 - 1, bottom of the 8th, we lose and the Dbacks are tied with us. Dropping 2 against the Dbacks with one game left, then the Phillies come in for 4 games. Long week for the boys.

Seems like the Giants have forgot how to play baseball all of a sudden, nothing is going for them right now

... losing 5 in a row the NL West is now tied... I had totally forgot we have 4 games coming up against the Phillies now... which we'll face both Halliday & Lee

That's right, Halladay and Lee will help your team lose the division lead soon enough!

We're only 8 games back and nowhere near as bad as the Kansas City Royals, who are dead last in the division for a reason. Hoping to beat the Angels tonight with our ace taking the mound, Scott Baker.

MLB is reportedly looking into A Rod's participation in illegal poker games, and A Rod may be looking at a suspension if his participation is confirmed. A Rod was warned in 2005 by Bud Selig and the Yankees about playing in underground games.

I'll be heading to Minneapolis next week to watch the Twins play the RedSox, it will be my first live MLB game.

I don't personally see anything wrong with this sort of thing. It should be legal to begin with. But that being said A-Rod should have known better.

A-Rod should know better that he can't be in the room gambling illegally and presumably participating in the cocaine that was "used freely" throughout the games. Public figures like teachers and cops and the sort just have to watch who their friends are...

my god...such BS...who gives a Fu*k? why exactly was HE hand picked out of all the players who do this?

Basketball, they openly gamble on plane rides etc....im sure every sports does this...

That's what I was thinking. OJ Mayo actually got into a physical altercation with a teammate over gambling on a team plane and nothing came of it. Sounds like someone trying to make a high profile example. Unless an athlete is gambling on the sport they play I don't see a big deal.

Our bats just haven't been hitting. It also doesn't help that we reside in a pitchers park either. But that didn't stop Goldschmidt.

BTW, Dan Uggla's hit streak is up to 25 after another 3-run HR today.

Longest hit streak for the Braves in 15 years, not bad for a hitter below the Mendoza Line eh?
Rookie 1B Freddie Freeman has the second longest active hit streak in baseball at 18 games, too.

Also, just saw the replay of the infield triple yesterday, LOL.
