My old roommate's been in San Fran for the summer, and that's exactly what he was telling me (very strange compared to the 100-degree weather to which we're used in Atlanta). I looked up the weather report, and the temperature's in the high 50s in San Fran right now (7pm local). Compare that to the low 80s in Atlanta, for example.

Beach is lights out tonight. In 6.1 innings he's given up 3 hits, 0 runs, 10k's

Great... just after I post that Atlanta chokes away a 3-0 lead into a 3-3 tie.

'Wang' goes DEEP tonight!!!!!

He kept his balls down and had a no hitter going in the six inning!

So if he is able to 'keep it up', the Nationals just might have their #4 pitcher set for next season.

And we're working on our 4th comeback in five nights. If we do this, I'm just not even going to bother watching games before the 7th inning from now on.

O'Flaherty is really lucky he didn't blow the game open for the Marlins by pitching wild and loading the bases in the 8th...

Giants catcher Chris Stewart just hit his first career HR... Not that big of a deal i know... But the reason i bring it up is, that the Giants last 17 Home Runs, have been solo.... Really???

Yeah, with a dinger from Abreu off of Rivera. I done tried to rally the troops, but we couldn't hold a 2-0 lead on those pesky Pink Sox.

OMG, I can't believe the idiocy in the 11th inning of this Braves/Marlins game. You know, we're down to our last couple bench players right?

Gonzalez uses Hinske as a pinch hitter, and Hinske draws a walk. Gonzalez subs Hinske out for Jason Heyward (who has recently been benched because he sucks) and Heyward doesn't even last a pitch before he's picked off first. So there are two bench players used with zero results.

The next batter rips a shot down the right field line... it should've scored Heyward from first, but we all know what happened to him. But it gets worse, it should've been a triple for the speedy Michael Bourn except that Bourn fell down rounding first base!

Luckily, Martin Prado in the next at-bat gets his fourth hit of the night and drives Bourn in from 2nd base (Prado's 3rd RBI of the night). However, Bourn should've been out by a mile at the plate except that the Marlins' rightfielder airmailed the throw!

Braves are now taking a one-run lead to the bottom of the 11th for closer Craig Kimbrel, who can't catch a day off lately.

The best part is that Lee was swinging fastball, and the pitcher threw a change-up. Actually allowed him to catch up to it. :-D

Before Wang got hurt, he was our #1....He was a nasty sinkerball pitcher... guy threw bowling balls...

Happy to see him pitching again

According to Baseball Almanac, Dan Uggla is only the 51st player in the past 135 years to produce a hit streak of 30+ games. Here's a list of the longest (I didn't realize that Pete Rose's 44-gamer is not the 2nd longest ever)

Dan Uggla with a 2-RBI single in the first inning against the Fish!!
The streak continues. If he gets another hit on Friday, then he'll surpass Rico Cardy's all-time Atlanta record.

Damn you Waboman. Ok, I'm done venting about yesterday. Granderson just hit his 30th HR which has tied his career high. What's also scary is that he has a little over a month and a half to go in the regular season. I'm really surprised that I've haven't heard of any allegations of him taking and PED's (it's probably due to the fact that he has hit many HR's before and not just recently like Bautista).

His swing is perfect for that park.
