They did a good job running up Verlander's pitch count. He's already thrown 25 pitches in one inning.

This especially sucks for a shot 5 game series. Now the rotations will be all out of whack.

We got straight smacked yesterday. I think we'll fare better today. Did you guys hear the stat about the last like 4 shutouts completed on the Rangers have been by rookie pitchers. Or the last 4 rookies the Rangers faced shut them out. One of those two. Either way, the Rays had the run support and CJ wasn't very good yesterday. Thankfully, we don't have to wait long to redeem ourselves.

They waiting to long to postpone that game the tigers NEVER should have batted in those conditions. Essentially the Umps took an inning away from Detroit with the fact they made the batters bat in the top of the 2nd, event tho all 3 tigers batters told the ump they couldn't see dick. I am very upset that the Umps made such a horrid call.

Makes things easier with the knowledge that Tampa already stole a game at Texas and St. Louis is leading Game 1 against Philly.

Really? I think most people were more concerned Sabathia was going to slip and fall on his fat @ss. It looked like he was going to on a few of those pitches.

I want to know why the game was even started with the rain so close, If the GM's made the call together to play the game then part of it lies on the Detroit GM for this crap, but if the umps and the Yankees Gm/Coach made the call then Detroit should appeal to MLB to allow them to bat again keeping conditions fair for both clubs.

There was only a 30% chance of rain last night. Also, That won't happen.

Oh I agree there. I think everyone watching the game does. At the very least they should have stopped it after the first inning instead of going another half inning through pouring rain.

Now that I think about it. I probably should have went ahead and posted my predictions yesterday(before any of the games started). Therefore, I would have not been influenced in any way.
