Wow so I wonder what the attendance was for the 6th inning onward in Cleveland last night. By the time the 8th rolled in it seemed like there may have been 1,000 in the building still.

The long rain delay didn't help... but opening night and all I would have thought more people would have stuck around to watch their Indians.

Jays going for the sweep today. Hopefully get another good game from Purcey!

Jays are certainly having a good season so far. Plan the parade route!

Hopefully Purcey will have another good game, and we'll see if Lind stays on pace for 324 RBI's.

It looks like Cliff Lee is back to his old self... like clockwork, every other year. That being said, I'll always root for a former Expo, even if he never played for them in the majors.

Yes they do, everyone thought the Jays would suck because they didn't spend any money... but everyone forgets that were 50 something and 30 something the second half of the season under Cito Gaston. TOns of #1 picks in the line up, this team is going to be DANGEROUS for the next many years!

Haha thats right... Lee was an Expo originally All the great players were in the Montreal system!

Ha! Yep, the guy will be lights out when he stops walking batters lol That was in 5 innings!

That drives me nuts though... i'd rather see someone throw 85 down the pipe than walking batters.

And we would be undefeated if not for a crazy bullpen collapse. I am not sure playing the Nationals is a good gauge though. Chipper needs to play 140+ games for us to seriously contend.

Nice to see the Mariners sweeping the A's. Having a record of 5-2 is nice too. Aside from a bullpen let down against Minnesota, the pitching staff has played great. A few more wins and all the bandwagon jumpers out here will be jumping on.

The Cubs home opener is today but it is currently delayed and it will probably be canceled. 40 degrees and rainy in Chicago currently. They should have just canceled today's game last night because they have tomorrow off and the Cubs played last night and didn't get in until around 2 am local time and the forecast calls for rain all day.

Red Sox off to a sluggish start, they're leaving runners on base like crazy.

Anyone see Beckett breeze a fastball by Bobby Abreu's forehead after a late time out call? Nice first inning drama, cleared the benches...

Yep saw the highlights, Red Sox usually have a few good bench clearing brawls over the season... TB one comes to mind from last season. I think that was something between CoCo Crisp(now in KC) and one of the Rays.

Former Blue Jay Ted Lilly flirted with the no hitter for the Cubs!

And man, that catch by former Blue Jay Reed Johnson last night to rob Prince Fielder was off the hook!

Go former Jays! AHHAH!

Don't get me started on that. Philly fans shouldn't be happy at all either. They didn't do anything. Literally. That was embarrassing. I would have just thrown it down the middle and see if they can get themselves out.

Hopefully Francouer gets his swagger back from 2 years ago.
