Yeah I have no idea why he was scratched... 1-2 games lost no big deal but hes a clutch hitter...

Just learned that when a player is replaced on the roster due to injury he cannot play the ensuing series, so if the Tigers make it to the World Series they have lost Young for the season.

I gotta say after 3 inning, the ump is definitely giving the Rangers more calls. Verlander just isn't getting the same calls as Wilson.

Howard Update MRI confirms Ruptured Achillies

Isn't Texas still right in the middle of an epic drought? Crazy this game ended up with a long delay. It's been raining here in central Florida too for about 36 hours straight and might continue till Monday.

Rain delays suck! I just wish CJ could've gotten one more batter so he could've finally gotten a post season win. He was killing it before the delay. I'm extremely surprised we got what we did against Verlander. That dude is for realsy reals.

+1, this Brewers-Cards series should be a great one, like they were saying on Fox last night, don't be surprised if the Cards brush back Morgan with an inside pitch or two after his trash talking as well.

Wow how stupid in the MLB to schedule playoff games on NFL Sunday, i didnt even know the cards/brewers were playing until the game was over...

Wow, you aren't kidding. I had no clue there was a game today till I just noticed the final score on ESPN. At least for the Monday night ALCS game they were smart enough to schedule it before Monday Night Football. The Tigers-Rangers game would have been slaughtered in TV ratings against the Brars-Lions MNF game.

It must be nice for Scherzer to be able to throw pitches 6 inches outside the plate and still get called strikes. That "strikeout" of Murphy was a joke, and it's consistent for him to get that call which is even more ridiculous.
