Isn't there a massive drought in Texas? Weird the only place it seems to be raining of late in that state is Arlington. I think an ALCS game was rained out and now rain is tracking there tonight.

Ken Rosenthal is so full of shit. When asked if McGwire will ever make the HOF he says "I don't know." Yes Ken, you do know. The answer is no. He hovers around 20% of the vote every HOF ballot since he became eligible. That's nowhere remotely close to the votes you need for induction.

For the sake of the fans, I really hope Texas pulls this out somehow, I'd be pretty depressed borderline suicidal if my team went to the series 2 years in a row only to lose

It's not so much that losing the World Series two years in a row would hurt. It's the fact that these are Texas's first two Series appearances ever.

And it's not like St. Louis is some title-starved franchise. They're 2nd all-time in championships after the Yankees. If the Cards win this championship they'll have won their last two titles with just 83 and 90 regular season wins. Both extremely unimpressive regular season records.

last season was understandable...going up against Lincecum, Cain, Sanchez, and Bumgardner. This season even without Lee, they are still even with St. Louis. This is still going to be a long series though. Though with Holland on the mound tomorrow

Maybe the Braves could unload Lowe or JJ on the Rangers in the offseason and take Nelson Cruz off their hands

Heh... you can have Lowe for free. He was our worst starter by far this season.
